Monty and his wife Lynn have 4 adult children, three daughters and a son. Having both lost spouses to cancer, God blended their families into a new family. Two of the daughters (Kristen and Karoline) reside in Dallas, and one (Kaitlin) in Philadelphia, PA. Their son (John Calvin) lives in Austin.

Will moved to Santa Fe directly from Philadelphia, where he lived and worked until he was 22. Before moving, Will led outreach programs on the streets of South Philly, working mostly with the homeless to provide them with food and other necessities.
