As we look to adjust for growth and blessing, Central Baptist prays to walk according to God's will and provision.

With renovations beginning, our Sunday morning service & childcare during the service will be held in the

FLC across the street from the sanctuary. Connection groups will still be held in the main building.

Walk back in time with us as we reflect on how God has led CBC in building projects

a place to belong

After its first major renovation in 1987, Central had an abundance of room to accommodate growth. A new sanctuary was built onto the existing one (which was renovated into offices). The church also added on many classrooms and a children's area to the campus.

God has been faithful as CBC stewards the campus grounds; our prayer is for every soul who enters our doorways to experience the hospitality modeled by God.

breaking ground

Central Baptist began in 1901. After meeting in their first building (a 250-seat brick auditorium) built between 1902 - 1911, the church broke ground on the current piece of property in Carthage in 1948.

Later, CBC renovated the building and added on a new sanctuary and classrooms. This is what we worship in today! This new portion was dedicated in 1987.
